Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to join our caring team. You will assist residents with medications as ordered, document activities, and help maintain a safe and respectful living environment.

The role requires completion of a Qualified Medication Aide program and current licensure, with 18-24 months of related experience; CPR/First Aid is preferred. You will participate in orientation and ongoing training and uphold Residents' Rights.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• 18-24 months experience in a similar position; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by physicians.
• Document all medication management activities per regulations and protocols.
• Obtain, receive and store medications from the pharmacy.
• Maintain orderly, clean medication storage areas.
• Record vital signs, weight and other observations; report changes to supervisor.
• Protect resident confidentiality and report complaints or incidents.
