Discovery Senior Living in Norman, OK is seeking a Care Giver/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care, administer medications, and support residents in a safe, home-like environment. Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Administer and observe medications and treatments, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly.
• Monitor and record resident conditions and changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and activity participation.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems.
• Communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
