Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in De Soto, MO seeks a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications as ordered by the attending physician, under nursing supervision and the Director of Nursing Services.

This part-time position requires strict attention to medication procedures, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed medication tech with state-approved training and required examination(s).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate in interdisciplinary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Help develop procedures to determine where and why medication errors occur and how to prevent them.
• Complete necessary administrative forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Ensure documentation of drug receipt errors includes an observer-witness sign-off.
