Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for Assisted Living to join our Dallas team. The role focuses on distributing medications to residents, ensuring timely administration, and documenting all activities in accordance with state regulations.

Qualified candidates will hold a Texas Medication Aide license and CNA certification, with a high school diploma or GED. The position offers PRN shifts and a sign-on bonus, with pay starting at $17.00/hour DOE and on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Medication Aide license and CNA certification required.
• Ability to organize workflow and document timely and accurately.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Positive, caring attitude and ability to work with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and administer medications to residents per state regulations.
• Document medication administration promptly and accurately.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain medication cart safety and security.
• Ensure infection control practices during medication administration.
• Assist with meals and ADL tasks as needed.
• Assist in safety and emergency equipment monitoring as required.
