Senior Living Facility in Orange, VA seeks a licensed Medication Aide to provide direct resident care and administer medications per physician orders. You will report to the nursing leadership and adhere to facility policies and health regulations.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, monitoring residents, recording vital signs, and ensuring dignity, safety and comfort at all times. Full-time day shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide certification or equivalent training with within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification issued by Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least four hours of annual training as mandated by the state.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct resident care and administer medications as directed.
• Report changes in condition to supervisor promptly.
• Take and record vital signs as instructed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and feeding as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, comfortable resident rooms and follow safety policies.
• Document care provided in EMR or paper records as required.
