Job summary

The Gardens of Nashville is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications, monitor residents’ health, and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities include accurate medication handling, vital sign observation, and engaging residents in wellness activities while maintaining strict safety and infection control procedures. A state-certified Medication Aide is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration per physician orders and company protocols.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision.
• Engage residents in wellness activities and maintain compassionate communication.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures and keep records organized.
