Qualifications

• Iowa Medication Aide certification is required.
• Careful adherence to medication procedures and documentation.
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families and staff.
• Comfort using electronic systems for medication tracking and records.
• Genuine passion for helping older adults live with dignity.
• Reliable availability for shifts, including weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders, care plans and regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication records using electronic systems.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition or side effects and report promptly.
• Assist residents with daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and team members.
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued.
