Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Waynesville, NC is seeking a qualified Medication Aide/CNA to administer medications to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under a licensed nurse, following state requirements and the facility policies.

The role also includes CNA duties and ensuring resident safety and comfort. This Full-Time position offers 1st and 2nd shifts with a wage of $25.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for education and growth.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state.
• Must have HS diploma or equivalent (or be enrolled).
• Ability to navigate through various software programs, including EHR.
• Current Nursing Assistant registry in good standing as required by state law.
• QMA competency evaluation if state requires.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the physician.
• Serve as a CNA and provide a safe environment and social support.
• Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort per care plans.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures.
