Autumn Care of Waynesville is seeking compassionate nurses to administer medications and provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility at 360 Old Balsam Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if required by your state.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through EHR software.
• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing within applicable laws.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED or be actively enrolled in a high school program.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician.
• Provide CNA duties and assist with resident care per care plans.
• Maintain safe and supportive environment and attend to residents’ physical and emotional needs.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and facility procedures.
