Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide for our Meridian, Idaho senior living community.

You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state regulations, observe effects, and document details in medication administration records. You will also support residents with activities of daily living, promote independence and dignity, and communicate observations with the Wellness Director or designated staff.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication administration training per state and facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivating and able to collaborate as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per state regulations.
• Observes residents taking medications and notes effects and adverse reactions.
• Documents required information in residents' medication administration records.
• Communicates concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living and preserves dignity.
