Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration; excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs with strong interpersonal skills.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing; CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the nursing team.
• Engage residents with compassionate care and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Maintain infection control and ensure safe, organized medication carts and records; respond to emergencies as needed.
