Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must have at least one licensed certification (CNA/HHA/PCA) and complete medication administration training approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medication for Assisted Living residents in accordance with Federal & State regulations and SSMG guidelines.
• Report changes in residents’ health and document properly to the Wellness Director.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff as requested by Supervisor.
• Understand and participate in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and preserving equipment.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of SSMG.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
