Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to assist residents with medications as ordered, document medication management, and maintain proper medication storage. The role includes recording vital signs, observing resident conditions, and reporting changes to your supervisor.

You will ensure confidentiality, follow safety and infection control rules, and participate in orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by their physician(s).
• Documents all functions related to medication management as required by regulation and community protocols.
• Obtains, receives, and stores medication(s) from pharmacy.
• Maintains order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Provide functions as directed by supervisor including daily and ongoing records (vital signs, weight) and observe/report changes in resident conditions.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect; report complaints, accidents, incidents.
• Assist in proper admission, transfer, discharge of residents and report defective equipment.
• Follow Universal Precautions and infection control rules; maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and record restraints; report safety violations.
