EastOK Cottages seeks a qualified Medication Technician to administer medications to residents under licensed supervision, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. You will maintain MAR records, monitor responses to medications, and support daily living activities to enhance quality of life.

The role requires a positive team player with strong communication skills and a focus on resident safety within a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or minimum age of 18.
• Certified Medication Technician or Med Level One course and obtain certification in current state.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, co-workers, visitors and families.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations requiring confidentiality of resident information.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications to residents under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration and vital signs as required.
• Maintain accurate medication records and MAR documentation.
• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ADLs.
• Assist with treatments as ordered by a resident’s physician.
