Job summary

Ashton Health and Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Medication Aide/CNA to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and RN/LPN, the Medication Aide will record vital signs, administer medications, and provide daily nursing care per the personal care plan, with patience, compassion, and empathy. Qualifications

• Applicant must be certified as a Medication Aide / CNA (Please note that Med Aide certification is different than that of a Med Tech)
• Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the RN/LPN, the Medication Aide will record vital signs, administer medication, and complete treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• A qualified applicant will also provide daily nursing care to residents as directed by their personal care plan.
• These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.
