Qualifications

• Must have completed medication assistance training.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents per state regulations.
• Observe residents taking medications and document effects and any adverse events.
• Document required information in medication administration records; communicate concerns to Wellness Director.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity.
