Job summary

America West Medical Transportation, Inc. is hiring a NEMT Driver to transport wheelchair or stretcher patients in equipped vehicles.

You will operate independently or with a teammate, ensuring safe patient transport from home to service location and back, while using transportation software and GPS systems. You will provide excellent customer service, handle on-call shifts, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

Fluent English and strong communication skills.
Professional conduct and reliability are essential.
Able to use mobile apps and transportation software.
Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willing to pass drug test and health screening (TB test where applicable).
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to drive to multiple locations.
Situational awareness and safety-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Independently operate medical transportation in a company vehicle.
Safely transport wheelchair or stretcher patients from home to service location and back.
Use company transportation software and GPS systems.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
Possess on-call responsibilities as required.
Communicate effectively with leadership and team members.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
