Job summary

Priority Ondemand seeks an ambulance driver in Kosciusko, MS to provide scheduled and on‑demand medical transportation. You will move passengers safely between homes, hospitals and facilities, while monitoring care and communicating with dispatch and medical control.

Required are CPR and First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and eventual EMT certification within one year. You’ll work under a field supervisor or operations manager, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/certified by the appropriate state agencies.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• EMT certification within one year of hire.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and clean driving record.
• Complete CEVO ambulance driver safety course.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and interact professionally with others.

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduled and unscheduled medical transportation services and delivers the passenger to the appropriate location.
• Responds to hospitals, nursing homes and other locations to provide medical transportation services.
• Provides safe passenger movement from/to wheelchair/stretcher at home, hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities.
• Maintains passenger safety monitoring enroute to destination and during transportation.
• Completes and signs all appropriate documentation for every response and transport.
• Adheres to HIPAA and other privacy regulations and company policies.
