You will respond to hospitals and nursing homes, coordinate with dispatch, and maintain vehicle readiness and patient care standards during transfers and at arrivals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high degree of personal integrity and responsibility.
• Licensed/certified by the appropriate state agencies.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• EMT certification within one year of hire.
• State motor vehicle operator’s license with a clean driving record.
• CEVO ambulance driver safety training required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make good judgments.
• Interact professionally with passengers, public safety personnel and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled and unscheduled medical transportation services and transport passengers to destinations.
• Respond to hospitals and nursing homes for medical transportation.
• Ensure safe passenger movement to/from wheelchairs or stretchers at various facilities.
• Monitor passenger safety enroute and during transfers.
• Maintain security and privacy of all passenger information per regulations.
• Complete and sign all documentation for each response and transport.
