Job summary

Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is seeking a Medical Receptionist in Toms River, NJ. You will warmly greet patients, collect demographics and insurance information, and register new patients in our clinic’s system.

This role supports the front office and ensures accurate chart preparation for daily appointments. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least three years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years office experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors into the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; copies of insurance cards and driver’s license are collected and updated as needed.
• Registers new patients in the system and organizes new patient charts; notifies nursing staff of arrivals.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles and other out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit; issues receipts as needed.
• Maintains a neat and orderly lobby area and handles front-office duties as requested.
• Demonstrates patient confidentiality and follows clinic policies to support efficient front-office operations.
