CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to support patient care across busy clinics. This role emphasizes preparing patients, rooms, injections, labs, and coordination of follow-up care. AAMA certification is helpful and 1+ year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical patient setting experience preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems is helpful.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program (BOTP) is required.
• AAMA certification helpful.
• Ability to obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days preferred
• Ability to obtain Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam rooms with necessary instruments and supplies; maintain sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with splints, dressings, and bandages.
• Coordinate patient transfers and follow-up scheduling.
• Coordinate physicals and workplace injuries for partner accounts.
• Screen referrals and route to physicians as needed
