Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or 3 years of relevant healthcare experience in lieu of diploma.
- Current Medical Assistant certification or CPR/BLS recommended.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take vital signs and document in medical records.
- Prepare equipment and exam rooms; ensure clean and safe environment.
- Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, pre-certifications, and referrals.
- Administer prescribed medications or injections as directed.
