Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support in the Primary Care-Arcadia department. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking histories, vital signs, injections, venipuncture, and basic lab work under physician supervision.

Ideal candidates have an MA training background, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule at 3311 N 44th St, Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock exam rooms and escort patients to rooms.
• Provide front and back office support, including scheduling and phone activity.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as directed.
• Perform venipuncture and basic lab tests as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers.
