Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care or ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient support and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Perform point-of-care laboratory tests and EKGs.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Prepare patients and room for visits or examinations.
• Perform medication administration as directed.
