Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Jackson, Brighton, Ann Arbor is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care, perform vitals, EKG, phlebotomy and front office duties. The role includes handling insurance and VOB tasks, charting in EMR, and assisting physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience in front office, including insurance and VOB.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Training in exercise is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals, perform EKG and phlebotomy.
• Front office duties including insurance and VOB.
• Administrative duties: phone management, follow-up calls, greet patients, inventory.
• Clinical duties: IM injections, document progress notes, EMR entries.
• Assist physicians with referrals and lab forms.
