Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required plus Medical Assistant certification WA and CPR certification on hire.
• WA Medical Assistant certification is required upon hire; CPR certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Patient Intake & Clinical Support: greet and prepare patients, collect vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and assist with examinations and patient mobility.
• Clinical Procedures & Testing: perform phlebotomy, EKGs, basic laboratory procedures, administer approved medications, communicate lab results, and support diagnostic testing.
• Medical Documentation & Record Management: document patient encounters, update electronic medical records, review records for accuracy, ensure confidentiality.
• Care Coordination & Scheduling: schedule appointments, diagnostic services, referrals, and coordinate patient flow and follow-up care.
• Clinic Operations & Inventory Management: prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain exam rooms, manage supplies and equipment, ensure a safe environment.
• Patient Communication & Administrative Support: provide patient education, handle calls, verify insurance, registrations, payments, and escalate concerns.
