Responsibilities

• Examine patients, verify medical history and chart notes.
• Order diagnostic tests as required and create patient-care plans.
• Educate patients regarding diet, family planning, emotional problems, and health maintenance.
• Act as the backup to the physician during emergencies and exercise professional judgment.
