Job summary

The position requires pre-visit planning, vitals, immunizations, phlebotomy, and adherence to HIPAA privacy rules. Clinic coverage may involve multiple home locations with occasional travel to associated sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS Certificate with hands-on verification required.
• State of Florida MA/CNA Certification preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred.
• Spanish fluency preferred but not essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Performs and records vital signs accurately.
• Completes pre-visit planning and prepares examination room.
• Documents in EMR and maintains accurate records.
• Performs immunizations, lab draws and in-office procedures as ordered.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are available as needed.
• Supports care team through daily huddles and efficient communication.
• Follows infection control policies and PHI disclosures.
