Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have EMT or MA background as specified.
• 1 year MA experience in ambulatory care or healthcare setting.
• Completion of an MA education program or University Hospital MA certification program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examinations; records vitals.
• Performs CLIA waived lab tests and reports results.
• Assists with injections, catheterization, and suture removal.
• Chaperones clinicians during exams and assists procedures.
• Schedules appointments and handles basic clerical tasks.
