Job summary

The Neighborhood Clinic in Katy, TX is looking for a compassionate Clinical Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. You will assist with patient examinations, record vitals, manage injections and phlebotomy, and help maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (MA certificate preferred) and CMA/RMA certification with at least 1 year of clinical MA experience, EMR proficiency, phlebotomy skills, and a patient-centered bedside manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA certificate preferred.
• CMA (AAMA) or RMA certification preferred.
• 1+ year clinical medical assistant experience.
• Proficiency with EMR software.
• Phlebotomy, vital signs, injections skills.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record vital signs, medical histories in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Administer injections and vaccinations; perform phlebotomy.
• Process lab specimens, referrals, prior authorizations.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA and clinical safety standards.
