Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect medical history and vital signs.
• Perform routine in-office labs and specimen collection.
• Draw blood for routine labs and prepare specimens.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered.
• Assist providers with wound care and procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and EMR documentation.
• Clerical duties and patient check-in as needed.
