SolutionHealth is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an ambulatory setting. You will work with physicians, APPs, and care teams to ensure efficient clinic operations and a superior patient experience.

You will obtain vital signs, medical histories, document in the EHR, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and administer immunizations within scope. A High School Diploma or MA program completion, plus BLS, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or a minimum of three (3) years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within established timeframe.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience working with electronic medical records.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations and office procedures.
• Administer immunizations, medications, and injections within scope of practice.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment.
• Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests.
• Answer patient phone calls and portal messages while providing outstanding customer service.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care initiatives.
• Participate in practice and organizational meetings, trainings, and process improvement activities.
