Job summary

You will prepare patient charts, collect information, take vital signs, and assist providers with procedures, coordinating patient flow through the back office. Strong empathy and efficiency are essential, with BLS/CPR certification and an accredited MA program preferred.

Qualifications

• Trained from an accredited MA program.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in hospital, clinic or physician's office.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with obtaining treatment authorization requests, verification of insurance status, and refilling prescription requests.
• Phlebotomist: CA

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms for patient care and maintains supplies.
• Assists providers in prioritizing patient appointments across emergency, urgent, and routine visits.
• Takes vital signs and documents in the medical record.
• Collects urine samples, labs, and administers tests as ordered; records results.
• Assists physicians with pelvic exams and minor procedures; maintains charts/files.
