Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting training program.
• EMT-A or Paramedic required.
• Exception may be granted with national MA certification and 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and scheduling to support providers.
• Prepare patient charts by reviewing medical records and EHR.
• Assist with examinations and procedures for patients.
• Record vital signs and document findings in medical records.
• Process referrals and lab orders; assist with billing paperwork.
• Administer immunizations and injections per policy.
• Participate in HIPAA compliance training and safety drills.
