Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outpatient clinic in a full-time role. You will greet patients, schedule and verify information, take vitals, and assist clinicians with treatments and lab specimens.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, with excellent interpersonal skills and a non-judgmental attitude toward substance use disorder patients. Prior healthcare experience is preferred and phlebotomy is a required skill.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant required or registered with state.
• Phlebotomy experience is required for this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with patient management software preferred.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients in a substance use disorder setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in for appointments.
• Record and verify patient information and update electronic charts.
• Take vital signs and assist with treatments as directed by clinicians.
• Collect lab samples and prepare rooms for examinations.
• Triage calls and manage messages and referrals.
• Maintain neat and accurate patient records and reports.
