Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs. You will prepare exam rooms, assist during visits, and ensure smooth patient flow while documenting in the EHR.

You’ll manage vital signs, scheduling, and referrals in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Ideal candidates have MA training, a high school diploma, and are comfortable using medical terminology and English communication to support diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room and assist during patient visits.
• Take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals.
• Maintain supplies and stock examination rooms.
• Provide patient education and care per age and cultural needs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and practice management.
