Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medical Assistant in Leesburg, FL, to serve as the first point of contact for patient care. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, document in the EMR, and collaborate with physicians to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, discussing symptoms, admin of medications and vaccines where permitted, and supporting a TB screening program. This role requires a MA credential or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certified.
• This role is patient facing and participates in the TB screening program.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care and perform varied administrative tasks.
• Obtain vital signs, discuss symptoms, and document information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver care.
