Mindlance seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians at a Green Valley, AZ clinic. You will assist with patient examinations, document vitals, and help ensure smooth clinic operations in a patient-centered environment.

You will provide front and back office support, greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, schedule appointments, and assist with documentation and basic treatments in accordance with protocols and HIPAA standards.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of clinical procedures, vital sign measurement, medication administration, and basic treatments.

Aufgaben

• Assist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments under physician direction.
• Provide front and/or back office clinical support in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Greet patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner and facilitate a positive patient experience.
• Manage patient check-in by ensuring charts are prepared, medical records are available, patient information is current, and required paperwork is complete.
• Interview patients, obtain and document vital signs, and record the reason for visit.
• Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Support patient check-out by scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-payments when applicable, and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Reconcile co-payments at the end of each day in accordance with clinic procedures.
