Abrazo Goodyear Multispecialty (Avondale) is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct nursing care in a medical office under physician supervision. You'll assist providers, take vitals, administer medications, and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to mission and policies of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Assess patient needs and health plans, take vital signs, collect history, and determine chief complaint.
• Complete documentation in patient records and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Assist physicians with treatments and procedures; administer medications and venipunctures.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and manage PPE compliance.
• Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, pre-certifications, referrals and patient checkout.
