Grand River Health is seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and clinical support in our West Grand clinic in Parachute, CO. The role emphasizes compassionate service and teamwork within a busy clinic environment.

You will work with providers to perform intakes, assist with examinations, and maintain EMR accuracy while upholding infection control standards. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience or equivalent skills.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification within 3 months of start and maintained.
• Strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient intake, obtain and document vital signs, and update the EMR.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, diagnostic testing, medications, immunizations, and specimens.
• Prepare examination and procedure rooms, operate medical equipment, and maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, patient calls, education, and communication within scope of practice.
• Support quality improvement, data organization, and clinic initiatives to promote patient outcomes and Rural Health Clinic reimbursement.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical practices, public health, infection control, and policies.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility to support clinic operations.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
