The Center for Human Development (CHD) seeks a Medical Assistant for our Griswold Center in Palmer, MA. This part-time, on-site role supports clinical operations with EMR use, vital signs, rooming patients, and referral submissions.

Qualifications include a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant and 1 year of clinical experience. We offer a strong benefits package including health, dental, and life insurance, plus PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical/clinical practice experience required
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• MAP certifications preferred
• CPR and First Aid preferred
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior Authorizations experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Managing Provider Schedules
• Provider Visit Prep
• Prior Authorizations
• Obtaining Medical Records / communicating with community providers
• Answering phones
• Rooming Patients
• Performing vital signs
• Engaging with the EHR
• Submitting Referrals
• Other duties as identified by programmatic need
