Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• Experience in infusion clinic, behavioral health outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmth.
• Assist providers with patient care including history, vitals, venipuncture, injections, and wound care.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies for appointments and procedures.
• Assist with ketamine infusions and Spravato treatments with safety protocols.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians following procedures.
• Verify patient documentation before treatment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and infection-controlled environment.
• Schedule patients and manage records and treatment documents.
• Collect payments and document transactions accurately.
