Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work under a licensed practitioner, performing duties to support patient care at a Providence Medical Institute location. The MA II is fully competent in the MA I role and operates per established policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will hold MA credentials or relevant training with BLS, and will have at least 6 months healthcare and MA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Alumni of a registered MA apprenticeship program or US Armed Forces medical training.
• Minimum one year MA work experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Active BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 6 months healthcare experience and 6 months MA experience.
