Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Completion of an MA apprenticeship or equivalent formal training.
• Experience in vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care.
• Perform MA duties as directed to support clinic operations and patient needs.

Education

Graduate of accredited school with hands-on training for medical assistants

Graduate of registered medical assistant apprenticeship program

Two years of medical training in U.S. Armed Forces

One year of MA work experience with vital signs, injections, medications

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days

6 months of Healthcare experience

6 months of Medical Assistant experience

National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
