Job summary

Providence Medical Institute seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) II to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. This role builds on MA I duties and must be fully competent in clinic-specific clinical functions and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on MA training
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in US Armed Forces
• Minimum one year MA work experience with vitals, injections, and meds administration
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - AHA
• 6 months healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to support patient care
• Perform MA II duties as directed and in line with clinic policies
• Comply with established procedures and regulations in clinical settings
