Job summary

You will also assist with simple diagnostics, phlebotomy, and maintaining exam rooms. The job requires completion of an accredited medical assistant program and CMA certification (AAMA/RA/NCMA/CCMA/MedCA) with BLS on file.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Medical Assistant certification from AAMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or MedCA preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CMA clinical duties: obtain vital signs, administer limited medication injections per policy.
• Conduct simple diagnostic tests and collect specimens; draw blood.
• Assist in emergencies as directed by licensed provider or RN.
• Clean equipment, stock supplies, and maintain exam rooms in outpatient setting.
