Job summary

You will measure vitals, document histories, prepare exam rooms, administer vaccines, and assist with scheduling, triage, and referrals. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and commitment to patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
• Commitment to patient experience and quality improvement in outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, procedures, triage of patient calls, reviewing charts, scheduling patients.
• Prepares exam rooms for providers between patient contact.
• Obtain prior authorizations for visits, prescriptions, and procedures.
• Assist in the in-bound/out-bound referral process.
• Prepare the medical chart including importing medications and preloading vaccines.
