Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 32-hour per week role in Attleboro, MA. You will support the care team by rooming patients, taking vitals, performing procedures, and handling referrals and scheduling in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will assist with vaccines, chart review, patient education, and front-desk cross-training as needed, while maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment.

• Cross-trains to assist front-desk staff when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical duties: rooming patients, taking vitals, procedures and triage calls.
• Review charts and lab results; assist in scheduling patients.
• Obtain prior authorizations for visits, prescriptions and procedures.
• Assist in the referral process and manage medical charts.
• Administer vaccines and prepare exam rooms between patients.
• Support scheduling of new and established patients; maintain phone communication.
• Monitor inbox and med refills per policy; manage EMR workflows.
