Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years MA experience.
• BLS certification required; CPR not accepted for completion.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor.
• Proactive communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Effective collaborator and team player.
• Technically proficient with MS Office and EHR/Experity.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Support clinical operations and patient care; triage and assist providers.
• Take vitals, obtain history, perform phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient data in EHRs in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Administer medications under supervision when permitted by state rules (NH/ME).
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist with discharge planning as needed.
