Job summary

Suncoast Skin Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. You will handle both clinical and administrative tasks, preparing exam rooms, assisting with examinations and treatments, and ensuring aseptic technique and infection control throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities include taking patient histories and vitals, administering medications as ordered, logging results, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; Medical assistant diploma/certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic computer programs.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Provider and support quality patient care.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
• Assist with examinations and procedures, invasive or not.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique.
• Screen and follow up on test results and document appropriately.
• Obtain patient history and vitals; administer medications per physician orders.
• Maintain medication records and manage sample inventory.
• Support clinic operations during high-volume periods.
